Expose it. Fight it. End it.
What can I do to help to end child sexploitation?
1. Read more about the issues, read about those who are trying to make a difference, from little NGOs to big organizations like UNICEF: http://www.unicefusa.org/
2. Talk about the issue at home, at school, and in your work place. If you are a parent, talk to your children, educate them about the global world in which they live and why they must care
3. Raise funds and donate money to organizations
Somaly Mam Foundation
Norman Jean Roy’s book TRAFFIK
4. Volunteer your time
5. Write to you local, state and national politicians to demand that your government, on every level, do more. Demand investment in:
better child protection systems
better quality education for all children
better more extensive creation of livelihood opportunities
the adoption of all international standards that protect children
the creation of national legal and policy frameworks that protect children
create opportunities for education and livelihood
